WebOct 15, 2012 · The Pantanal wetland area is amazing and the wildlife is wonderful. We recently completed a 3 day stay on the Jaguar Houseboat operated by Pantanal Explorer. Contrary to the website information we faced a five and a half hour drive from Cuiaba, over half of which was on a bumpy dirt road. The property has two lodges, the Baiazinha Lodge and the Cordilheira Lodge which are spread 22kms apart. The lodges are accessed by road or light aircraft from Campo Grande.
