NettetBefriending service goes online. We know how lonely it can feel at any age being at home during the Coronavirus pandemic. That is why at Deaf Action, we have created a new online Befriending Service to allow deaf and hard of hearing people to find and meet with Deaf and hard of hearing friends anywhere in Scotland. Hearing those comments were a reminder of how important the befriending service is for people who are struggling. I am so proud to be part of a service that is helpful to so many people – and I plan to be a part of it for a long time to come.
