WebI always like the "outsider" backgrounds. To me, the "best canon" is: Warden - Female, Dalish Elf, Rogue, romances Alistair (and breaks up with him at the Landsmeet after recruiting Loghain into the Wardens ). I like the Dalish origin because it ties more into the overall plot with the Blight than any other.
